About Me, Myself, and I...
My name is Lou, and I’m from a small town in Mississippi. As I grew up I always wanted to see more than I had to see daily. Once I was old enough, I decided to join the military, and it gave me so many opportunities to see new things, people, and memories. Once I returned to the USA from my last deployment, I started to crave that adventure again. When I was home one day in the summer of 2022, I watched a music video that inspired me to bicycle in my home state (Mississippi). I trained for 5 weeks before cycling from Memphis to Biloxi with no cycling background, and I completed it, surprising myself. Completing that tour drives me to become the Forest Gump of my generation (on a bicycle of course).
